Scared the WITS out of me, pretty awesome comic I think. I couldn't stop staring at the spirals on my stove for a while in utter terror.

Not familiar with the manga what makes it so good ? Other then it scaring you.

Well, I guess because it wasn't just fear, more like an unsettling. Author's very notable guy. The art is extremely interesting and it interjects the spiral topic matter into a variety of otherwise normal situations or objects. The contortions done to the human body are more unsettling to look at than simply having monsters we simply shrug off as something inherently different.

Having just read first two chapters online can see what you mean by unsettling. Some of the scenes were a little too bloody for my tastes . The story so far is interesting, the injection of spirals into normal situations is nicely done. Though be it in a creepy manner.
